Directions to the Humanist Center

he Humanist Center is located at 48 Howard Street, Albany, New York 12207. It is next door to Daniel's restaurant in the Ogden's building on the corner of Lodge and Howard.

Howard Street runs parallel to State Street, one block to the south, between Eagle Street and South Pearl Street. It is one block north of the Pepsi Arena. The Humanist Center at 48 Howard has parking on the southwest side of the building, accessible from Wendell Street.

The Humanist Center can also be reached by several major public transportation routes. Numerous buses stop close to the Center: nearby bus stops include Eagle Street, lower State Street and Van Eyck Plaza.

lbany is served by eleven major airlines at the Albany International Airport (ALB). The Humanist Center is approximately 12 miles from the airport. In addition to taxi service and hotel shuttles, the Route 1 bus travels from the airport to State Street, adjacent to the Humanist Center.

The Amtrak Station in Rensselaer, New York provides regular train service to the Albany area, with frequent daily trains to New York City, Boston, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto, Buffalo and other destinations. The Humanist Center is just 2 miles from the Amtrak Station. The Route 14 bus travels from the train station to State Street, adjacent to the Humanist Center.

he Crowne Plaza Hotel Albany-City Center at State and Lodge Streets is just one block from the Humanist Center. The hotel provides free shuttle service to and from transportation hubs.
