he Humanist, by Anita Weschler, is on permanent display at the Humanist Center. Pioneering the use of fiberglass in sculpture, The Humanist statue depicts a man of ambiguous race, with a stance poised for action and both arms outstretched, one for giving and one for receiving.

Warren Allen Smith
Previously exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in 1955, The Humanist was generously donated to the Institute for Humanist Studies by Warren Allen Smith, author of Who's Who in Hell and Celebrities in Hell.
The Institute for Humanist Studies gratefully acknowledges Warren Allen Smith's gift of The Humanist statue to the Humanist Center.
